Verification methodology

How we verify event dates, pricing and details — before we publish anything.

Core principle

Only confirmed data from official sources

WydarzeniaTaneczne.pl publishes only information about events we can verify directly from official organiser sources. We do not rely on rumours, Facebook group posts or unverified secondary sources.

If an official date is not available — we do not write "date confirmed". If pricing is not published — we do not write "free". If details change — we update or flag accordingly.

What "confirmed" means

When we label an event as confirmed

An event may be labelled as confirmed only when it meets at least one of the following criteria:

Criterion 1

The date is visible on the official organiser website (e.g. elsolfestival.pl, bachaturo.com, bailame.pl).

Criterion 2

The organiser published an official announcement with the date on their Instagram or Facebook profile (direct organiser account, not groups).

Criterion 3

Tickets are on sale on the official organiser website or official ticketing platform (e.g. Eventbrite, own shop).

Source hierarchy

Which sources we use and in what order

  1. 1Official organiser website
  2. 2Official organiser ticket page
  3. 3Official organiser Instagram or Facebook profile
  4. 4Official event page on a recognised platform (if used by organiser)
  5. 5Official school website or social profile
  6. 6Strong secondary sources — only if no direct official page exists
Pricing policy

How we present pricing

Dance festival pricing changes over time — early bird, regular, last minute, VIP. We cannot guarantee our listed price is current at every moment. We follow these rules:

Known minimum price

We show "from X PLN" — the lowest officially announced price, with a link to the official ticket page.

Price unknown

We show "Check with organiser" — never "Free" without confirmation that the event has no entry fee.

Confirmed free entry

We show "Free" only when the organiser has confirmed no admission charge in an official channel.

Price updates

When we receive information about a price change, we update the field and refresh the verification date.

Dance schools

How dance schools are added

Dance schools are added after verification: we check for an official website or social profile, the course offering, style(s) taught, and location. We do not list schools we cannot confirm are active.

School profiles are reviewed monthly. Schools that have changed their offering or closed are updated or removed from the directory.

Last updated: April 2026. This verification policy is reviewed every 3–6 months.
